Casa del Baile

La Casa del Baile is located in Madarcos, a peaceful village that transports us to a mountain past where livelihood depended exclusively on nature. It is because of the harmonious and idyllic coexistence of man with his environment that Madarcos prides itself on its recent inclusion in the Sierra del Rincón Biosphere Reserve in the Community of Madrid. This area, with its privileged ecosystem, was declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2005. A true gem to discover just one hour from Madrid city. Madarcos offers a natural landscape of unique beauty and richness. All its lands are closely related to water. It is crossed by two rivers, the Madarquillos and the La Nava or Cocinillas river. Both flow into the Puentes Viejas reservoir. Walking along all these paths is simply charming. Following the courses of these rivers, you can enjoy groves of poplars, willows, and holm oaks. They are the magical setting for observing Kingfishers, greenfinches, robins, or cuckoos, or as night falls, you can discover tawny owls and little owls. Other regular inhabitants you will surely encounter are foxes, wild boars, roe deer, and genets.
