RURAL HOUSE A rural house located in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park, in Cazalla de la Sierra. The accommodation is located in an area designated as an Asset of Cultural Interest (Bien de Interés Cultural), La Cartuja. Its exterior appearance is a traditional stone "chozo" (hut) with a wooden and rush roof. The entire interior is finished with exposed stone and equipped with 3 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a loft (1 bedroom is located here). Everything is fully equipped and compliant with current regulations, respecting the natural environment of the area. Energy efficiency measures are used (Solar energy). The exterior of the house consists of a leisure area equipped with a barbecue; the swimming pool is in a prime location where you can enjoy wonderful views of nature. The location of the accommodation allows for hiking and cycling routes throughout the property and surrounding areas. It also allows for visiting and participating in traditional local events (harvesting vegetables, livestock care, etc., seasonal only). HECTARES OF VIRGIN NATURE The Seville Sierra Morena is composed of ten municipalities in the northern area of the province of Seville: Alanís, Almadén de la Plata, Cazalla de la Sierra, Constantina, Guadalcanal, Las Navas de la Concepción, El Pedroso, La Puebla de los Infantes, El Real de la Jara, and San Nicolás del Puerto. HIGH-VALUE NATURAL RESERVE Within this region, and as an endorsement of the environmental and landscape values that can be enjoyed, most of its territory is classified as a Natural Park. This Sierra Norte de Sevilla Natural Park, with an area exceeding 177,000 hectares, becomes one of the largest in Andalusia. It is also included in the Natura 2000 Network, as a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA). It is flanked to the west and east by the Sierra de Aracena y Picos de Aroche Natural Park and the Sierra de Hornachuelos Natural Park, respectively. Jointly, these three Natural Parks were declared a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2002. This recognition was obtained for being areas where the conservation of biodiversity and natural resources is reconciled with their sustainable use.
